A Town Planning and Urban Design consultancy are looking to appoint a senior planning professional for the London Office.

The post entails the preparation, submission and negotiation of planning applications, conducting appeals by written representations and hearings. Dealing with the review of development plans and analysis of planning policy.

Analysing planning legislation and case law and the preparation of briefing material in connection with the instruction of counsel and liaison with solicitors and agents. You will also provide evidence and contributions to planning studies and major appeals/inquiries with particular reference to housing, industrial, commercial and retail proposals.

We are looking for a qualified practising planner with either a consultancy or local government background, or both. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, written and oral. A drivers' licence is needed for this role.
