Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Planner to join a Sustainable Travel team.
The role will require someone:
To assist in the development, promotion and co-ordination of the delivery of School Travel Plans and provide support for the implementation of actions and initiatives resulting from them and assist in the development of a strategy for the long term provision of support for School Travel Planning to ensure its long term sustainability.
To liaise with Head Teachers, teachers, parents, governors, police and health authority, Road Safety team, Engineers and Councillors.
To assist in the promotion of effective and efficient Service development and support issues that will improve the overall performance and delivery of all the activities within the Service.
