Job Description
... The council offices are only 45minutes from Central London and the client is happy to consider candidates who don’t have UK experience as they having training and support in place.
Duties of the post are varied, and are likely to include:
-Process planning applications (e.g. schools, children’s centres, applications around highways), negotiate with developers and pre-application enquiries.
-Prepare reports with appropriate recommendations for Committee, delegated decisions, planning appeals.
-Meetings with parish councils and local liaison groups as required.
-Assist the Enforcement Team when required in relation to unauthorised development.
-Have responsibility for the production of documents relating to the minerals and waste development framework and to assist with all aspects of policy development as required
