Project Manager to be based in Stratford, East London.

• Type of Contract: Design and Build
• Contract Duration: 155 Weeks

Brief description of Project
The construction of 295 residential apartments, the site consists of 3 number distinct blocks each constructed out of Reinforced Concrete frame with the tallest block going up 27 number storeys. The site is located at the gateway to the Olympic village.

The development will incorporate central plant to exceed the expectations of the renewable agreements and will feature unitised cladding to the front elevation of the tower.

The Candidate
Ideal qualities of the successful applicant:
• Commercially aware and contractually savvy
• Managed projects of a similar nature
• Good technical background is a must
• Preferably started their career as an engineer
• Leadership qualities
• Ability to manage a team are essential

Roles and Responsibilities of Project Manager
• Overall Co-ordination of project activities
• Sub-Contract Procurement
• Responsibility for Management of Health and Safety Issues and Procedures on-site
• Progress Reporting
• Programme and Sub-Contract Co-ordination
• Contract Administration overview
• Attendance at the following meetings:
• Monthly Client meetings
• Sub-Contract Start-up
• Sub-Contract Progress
• Design Team Meeting
• Monthly Safety Meeting
• Overall Progress Meeting
• Monitor Labour and Plant against original budget on a monthly basis
• Quality Assurance and Quality Control Procedure over-view
• Design development of undefined elements
• Chair of design meetings
• Preparation and management of design and procurement programmes in consultation with the Project Manager
• Preparation and management of quality assurance / warranty / CDP requirements
• Assessment and ratification of designed elements and specifications provided by professional team
• Assimilation of performance data / criteria and confirmation of conformance
• Procurement of specialist design of specific elements / goods / services
• Co-ordination of performance and interfaces of specialist designed elements
• Integration of specialist designs within professional design production
• Preparation and maintenance of direct and subcontract deliverables and contributions to Operation and Maintenance Manuals
