Highways Engineer based in Surrey

A position that simply cannot be missed!!!

This role is to work within one of the two busy design teams within the Design Section providing support for the senior team members working on a wide and varied range of highway and infrastructure engineering projects, both large and small, from the detailed design stage through to construction stage.

Candidates should possess a sound technical knowledge of Highway and Drainage Engineering and familiarity with MX computer design software would be an advantage.

A working knowledge of the relevant Highway Design Standards (Volume 6 of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges) is essential.

The candidate should have good communication skills and some experience in site supervision appropriate to the position will be an advantage.

The position whilst primarily office based will also involve attending external meetings and visiting sites throughout the South of England and a Drivers Licence is therefore essential.
