Job Description

Contracts Manager – Build. New build project at Romford. Residential Developer Builder with £60m turnover requires a Contracts Manager to take over from the incumbent who has been promoted.

The Project involves the construction of 2 blocks of high rise RC frame Residential blocks. With an overall value of £17 – 18m the project is currently in the ground. The scheme is designed with dual purpose end users of private and affordable housing – Housing Association apartments. You will be in a position to encourage and direct your teams and should be able to give positive guidance and encouragement as well as firm direction.

Staff on this project are directly employed in the managerial levels, from the Project Mangers, Site Managers, Supervisors, Quantity Surveyors, Crane drivers & Banksmen, whilst all the work is sub contracted out to trades contractors.

Health & Safety is extremely important and you will be expected to ensure that the Contractor’s current level of excellence is maintained. A pro-active attitude is expected with a demonstrable track record and evidence of high quality past performance and results.

Salary and package rewards will be above average to attract high calibre applicants and will be pitched accordingly. Only candidates who are legally entitled to live and work in the UK will be considered for this post.
