Graduate Site Engineers x 2 – RC frame. Sound and expanding civils contractor based in Sussex is currently seeking 2 Graduate Site Engineers to work on Groundworks and RC frame projects in South London, Sussex and Kent. Ideally with some site experience and familiarity with an EDM and setting out procedures.

The company was established over 20 years ago and has divisions specialising in Groundworks, Reinforced Concrete & Frames and Housing. The divisions are run separately and as such require their own teams to maximise production and ensure that the volume of repeat business is increased.

Candidates from either an engineering or a trades background (who have studied engineering) and had some previous experience on sites of £0.5m to £5m are sought. You should be capable of reading and interpreting drawings both at GA and sectional level. You will be directly responsible to the Project Managers who are Engineer trained. Health & Safety is paramount on these projects and only candidates who are prepared to actively promote safety will be considered. Overall enthusiasm and a desire to learn and participate are sought in the successful applicants. You will be encouraged to learn with assistance from experienced site staff.

Remuneration. A guideline of £18,000 to £22,000 is on offer, though this is fully negotiable and more experienced candidates with greater salary expectations will be equally considered.
