Construction Director – Northern Home Counties – Main Contractor

A large nationally recognised main contractor has an opportunity for a Construction Director to work out of an office is Suffolk. Projects from this office will be based mainly in the Northern Home Counties. Project sizes will range from £2 million - £50 million and will be with in the Education and Retail sectors. Projects will be based on traditional and design and build forms of contract.

As a Construction Director you will be a member of the regional board with in the company.

Your general day-to-day duties will include:

•Ensuring a positive safety culture and set high safety standards
•Oversee the delivery of multiple projects
•Responsible for ensuring that projects meet time, cost and quality targets
•High level customer contact
•Managing placement of site personnel
•Running monthly cost and progress meeting
•Input into the development of project programmes
•Attend & lead tender interviews
•To actively promote and market the business
•Office & site based role as work dictates

This main contractor also has other opportunities for various other positions (varied experience required) on both the production and commercial sides (surveyors, commercial managers, estimators, engineers, construction managers, project managers ECT).
