Are you a UK qualified solicitor, seeking to work abroad? If you can speak French, you might be considering France as a move. But where do you start?

We have an excellent opportunity for a skilled solicitor to join a well established office, located in central Paris. Undertaking specialist shipping finance you will work within a team, dealing with a variety of shipping related transactions, which will include asset finance, tax structured transactions and the like.

Ideally you will already have direct shipping finance experience but candidates who have strong general project finance experience will also be carefully considered.

This may be your first move as a qualified solicitor, since you qualified, or you may be seeking to fine tune your experience and gain lots of variety and experience on an international footing.

This post will provide you with early responsibility and hands on, client contact. You will have demands in respect of your commercial acumen, as well as your legal technical ability and you will often need to speak French.

Your role will involve you liaising with teams of our client on a global basis, as well as the Parisian network of law firms. This is a fantastic opportunity which could take you in any one of several directions long term and you are guaranteed to learn and progress within a very short time frame.
