Job Description

This is a dynamic mobile diagnostics environment which requires an ability to work effectively as part of a multi professional team, within a fast pace environment. Staff should have excellent patient education and communication skills and be able to work independently.

The post-holder is required to have at least 18 months solid background in clinical nursing skills, and preferably have Endoscopy nursing experience. Specific competencies related to Endoscopy nursing will be developed within the job.

The purpose of the job is to manage the day to day case workload allocated within the mobile Endoscopy unit. The nurse provides the necessary professional and clinical practice support for the team and peers. The coordination and facilitation of activities during the shift or case is essential to ensure a seamless service to patients and their attendant surgeons / physicians and other support staff.
