Job Description
Site Engineer, Civils. Working for a Groundworks and Civils Contractor this is a role involving setting out for infrastructure to include drainage, roads and pavements and section 278 works. An ability to read, interpret and put into place basic Traffic Management procedures will be an element of the work, liaising closely with the Site Manager who is Engineer trained.
Using current survey equipment you must be able to clearly communicate information that you set out with the directly employed workforce. You will be expected to be able to record daily events, delays and other relevant information in the site diary. NRSWA, CSCS and CITB certificates would be an advantage, but not essential. This is a contract position and will give you an opportunity to work long hours. Only candidates who are legally entitled to live and work in the UK will be considered.
