Job Description
Our client is currently recruiting an experienced Cancer Information Services Nurse to provide confidential support and advice for those who are concerned about the risk of developing cancer, those diagnosed, and those who wish to discuss their treatment or side-effects.
The suitable candidate should:
• Be a fully Registered General Nurse with An Bord Altranais
• Have 2 years experience in Oncology Nursing
• Hold a Diploma/Degree in Oncological Nursing
• Be computer literate
If successful, your key responsibilities include:
• Responding to queries over the phone, through email, and in person in a supportive and timely manner
• Maintaining a knowledge base on developments in cancer care and services for cancer patients
• Contributing to literature and publications which are aimed at people concerned or diagnosed with cancer
• Data input
