Quantity Surveyor for Trades Contractor. Working throughout London and the south –east, this is an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to take over the reins from the current Quantity Surveyor who is retiring.

Working purely in and around the scaffolding industry this would be an opportunity for someone to join an industry that requires mathematical and recording skills. There would be no requirement to be professionally qualified and whilst a preference would be for a candidate with good construction knowledge, this is not essential.

The Company is established in their field and has a number of regular and retained clients with whom they do repeat work. So an ability to negotiate rather than being confrontational is necessary in the successful applicant.

The role would be approximately 60% office based and 40% site orientated, making site and client visits to negotiate and finalise contracts and claims.

Head Office is located to the west of London, whilst the bulk of the sites are within the M25

Salary offered starts at £38 – 42k with the option of a car or a good car allowance, a company health scheme and 25 days annual holiday. The salary is negotiable based on your ability. Only candidates who are legally entitled to live and work in the UK will be considered.
