Site Manager / Engineer / Supervisor – Civils. Immediate requirement for an experienced Engineer who is able to take on some managerial duties in a supervisory role for the Contractor. Working for a company that was formed some 30 years ago and for whom civil engineering remains its core activity this would be an opportunity to get good hours on a freelance basis.
The company operates throughout the country covering a wide range of projects and serving both commercial and public sector clients, participating in a number of partnering initiatives and enjoying a high level of repeat business as a result of the excellent quality of service provided.
This is a new project that has some months to run and involves both new and refurbishment work on adopted roads. You must be able to demonstrate relevant experience and possess a valid NRSWA certificate. The setting out is fairly basic and there is an experienced labour force, so your role will require client interface and ensuring that there are adequate materials ordered / on site. Basic IT skills needed.
The civil engineering division offers expert services in major civils and earthmoving projects, especially those involving remediation, roads and infrastructure, complex substructures and deep basements, drainage, bridges, main frames and hard landscaping.
