Job Description

The role is to provide technical and design skills to a portfolio of very diverse and varied range of projects that will include schools, hotels, sports stadia, masterplanning and infrastructure, which will present the opportunity to get involved in various aspects of Project Management.

Key responsibilities will include the detailed design of earthworks, drainage, highways and infrastructure, possibly running a small team. It will involve monitoring the CAD Technicians, representing the company in client meetings and ensuring important service and design decisions are made.

They are looking for someone that is enthusiastic and driven, with a real passion for Civil Engineering. You should be eager to actively work towards chartership, to mentor junior/graduate engineers, and really commit yourself towards your own self learning and self development.

In terms of the South West region, Bath is a World Heritage Site, with fantastic architecture, great historical sites, and well known for it’s shopping! It has 2 universities, making it buzzing and lively city. The city of Bristol is only a short distance away, offering another 2 universities which vastly contribute to it’s huge music scene and a number of historical landmarks, and a busy airport.
