Job Description

My client is well known private health care company who has won a contract to supply Neurophysiology services to Bradford, Harrogate, Grimsby, Driffield, Hessle, Hull and Marfleet.

As part of this service a Neurophysiologist is required to cover the Bradford/Harrogate area. This would be for 1 day per week. The salary for this position is £31,000 which would be paid pro rata.

You would need to provided highly complex, specialist Clinical Neurophysiology service(s) to patients of all ages suffering from a wide variety of medical disorders. Other duties include:

- Responsible for the provision, audit and quality of a specialist ClinicalNeurophysiology Service delivery.
·- Investigate acquisition of accurate Neurophysiological data.
- Undertakes interpretation of results, provision of reports and gives diagnosis.
- Provides advice to clinicians.
- Work collaboratively on a day-to-day basis with others to ensure that service needs are met.

You would also need to independently plan, perform and interpret a range of advanced Neurophysiological investigations to a high level of competence to patients in the theatre environment. This would include the following clinical procedures:

- Spinal Cord Monitoring
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Clinic
- Somato-Sensory Evoked Potentials

This role would also have some management, educational and HR duties.
